No one cares how much you know…until they know how much you care!

We Care!

Dr. Bloxham is committed to a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to treat facial pain, headaches, temporomandibular joint disorders, and sleep apnea. The conditions he treats often have many contributing factors and by recognizing and understanding their role and impact, he is able to formulate a comprehensive approach to achieve results. He has found that by taking time to listen to his patients, then thoroughly examining and evaluating them, most patients respond to a well-defined treatment with positive results.

Chronic pain and dysfunction can affect every aspect of your life. It can influence thoughts, feelings, sleep patterns, memory, concentration, and even relationships with loved ones. The effects of persistent pain may sound intense, far reaching, and perhaps even exaggerated; but those who experience it truly understand just how debilitating it can be. Chronic pain changes who you are. Our goal is to help you become you again!

Many patients have gone through multiple treatments in search of answers and relief with frustrating results. Dr. Bloxham understands this frustration and involves patients at each step of their treatment to formulate a customized plan based on their specific symptoms and history. Dr. Bloxham is often able to diagnose and manage pain conditions of the head and face that may be unfamiliar to other medical and dental specialists.

At Columbia Regional Center for TMJ and Orofacial Pain we slow down and take the time to get to know you and understand your specific situation. By finding and treating underlying causes instead of just treating symptoms, we are able to both reduce reliance on medications and have greater treatment success. You will find that your first appointment with us is longer than you are typically used to. It is our job to understand you and the specific circumstances of your life and your health that contribute to your problem and then formulate a comprehensive treatment plan to address those and to do that takes time.
